Nancy Velasquez, 31, has been identified as the driver who struck a home in the 7300 block of Allentown Road around 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3 in Fort Washington to investigate a single-vehicle collision that left a woman inside the vehicle with critical injuries.
The Fort Washington native was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
No one inside the home was injured, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
Investigators say that Velasquez was driving west on Allentown Road when, for reasons under investigation, her vehicle left the roadway and struck the home.
The fatal incident remains under investigation.
